Rising Ukraine talent Yasya Minochkina presents her Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook, shot by Romain Bernardie James. The Central Saint Martins graduate launched her fashion career two years ago, and recently showed at London Fashion Week’s Fashion Scout, a platform which showcased designers like Mary Katrantzou and Christopher Kane earlier in their careers. Already garnering praise and support from editors and fashion creatives worldwide, the upcoming collection aims to further introduce her meticulous attention to production and affinity for new technologies. We already know fashionistas as always wanting the next cool thing, and with trends of late leading towards tech innovation and sculptural silhouettes it would seem that Yasya Minochkina could be the perfect contribution to a tired fashion landscape. Wet silk, wool and polyamide are just a few of her preferred fabrics, as are the pastel shades seen here. A Minochkina dress paired with any of the sport separates would make for the perfect introductory pieces to any lucky girl’s wardrobe.

A COTTON DRESS BY RIKAKO NAGASHIMA

Rikako Nagashima is an art director and designer. Her works explore fashion, collage, graphic, packaging and multidisciplinary design with handmade techniques mainly. In this project, she made a cotton dress, a shoe horn and a jewel ring with the concept “All is made of nature” with the attempt to show the natural resources of everyday dresses.

Rikako Nagashima è un art director e designer. Le sue opere esplorano la moda, collage, grafica, packaging e design multidisciplinare con, sopratutto, tecniche artigianali. In questo progetto, ha fatto un vestito di cotone, un calzascarpe e un anello gioiello con il concetto "Tutto è fatto di natura" con l'intento di mostrare le risorse naturali di abiti di tutti i giorni.

LARA ATKINSON’S FASHION POPSICLES

Lara Atkinson, a graphic designer in Dubai, teamed up with a high-fashion department store to create these trendy fashion popsicles inspired by a selection of Spring/Summer 2013 collections.

Atkinson chose these specific designer collections based on their bold color palettes and graphics.
